Queensland Swimming Pool Fence Safety Inspections and Compliance Certificates

From the 1st of December 2010, the Queensland Government legislation requires that all pool owners satisfy the new pool safety standards.

With summer getting hotter, people are looking for fun and easy ways to cool down. Naturally, swimming is the ideal choice. The cold lapping water has never seemed so appealing. Yet ensuring everyone's safety is of vital importance.

What are the new Pool Laws?

To reduce the number of pool-related incidents the Queensland Government has updated and introduced new pool safety laws.  These new  laws (and all updated laws) affect all existing and new pool owners. And the Queensland Government's Department of Infrastucture and Planning has stated that "pool owners have until 30 November 2015 to comply with the new pool safety laws, or earlier if they sell or lease their property before this time."
